Sadly, plain Greek yoghurt is not carb free...usually around 5g or more per 100g. Most of that is sugar ( but if you make your own there is some suggestion that by letting it 'ferment' longer the carb level may be reduced as the bacteria in the yoghurt feed on the sugar).after 10 days of great BG levels around 5-6 i was horrified to do my test before lunch to get a reading of 12, only thing i had eaten was 2 tangerines and a apple, after checking with fitness pal app it appears there was nearly 50g carbs between the 3 things
what should i snack on to avoid spikes, eggs, meat, dairy etc? i assume a plain greek yogurt is carb free?
I've been having pepperami and cheesestrings for my snacks
I know they're probably not the most wholesome options but they're easy and low carb! They definitely help get rid of hunger pangs when they come along tooYou're a monster rofl, well I think it's funny!
I rarely snack but these are the two foods I have had when I do.Cucumber and Celery sticks are not to bad, worth a try ?
