Good luck, I'm sure you will do it, slowly and steadily - that way you wont put it all on with one lapse. But don't cut out too much fat otherwise you will be tempted by more carbs and hungry. Fat is essential to a low carb diet. I did low carb and am a vegetarian and lost nearly 2 stone inititally but put on a few pounds when I let more carbs creep back. High protein and fats are not very fattening on their own.
I find I do the walking one day then completely forget (I wonder why?). For myself, I need a reason to walk - to the station or shops perhaps but not just in circles.
