Hi folks,
My HBA1c were 5.5% today and so I am really chuffed. However, I managed to get my weight well down after diagnosis in 2008 to 10 stone until this Christmas and have now put on half a stone that I cannot seem to shift.
I low carb trying to keep to around 60g of carbs per day but i do not religiously weigh things. I do not take meds for diabetes only blood pressure and asthma, and my main exercise is gardening + allotment and household chores + walking round the shops - no gym or anything for the sake of it. I work from home very part time and look after an elderly frail parent so perhaps spend more time sitting down than is good for me.
Any ideas?
