How long do these last? Mine is just on 3 years old and am starting to get odd fluxuations in readings. Could it be faulty? Is an Accu-Check Aviva Nano.

When in doubt I'd suggest you call Roche because they'll know. Three years sounds a bit old though as most of my other kit (pens and such) have a nominal lifetime of 2 years.

You could test the meter using the control solution, as it's 3 years old just ring Roche up and tell them the meter is faulty and they'll send you a new one out, they also provide the packaging to return your old meter free of charge.

Hi All...
I have and use the roche aviva nano meter...
Just a thought for you - before my battery ran out it gave some hit n miss readings out!
Realised it wasnt me after all - when the battery went on it...
Roche do a great customer services too, provided me with new batteries, control solution and advice.
Also said if was still on the blink - to ring them straight back and they would issue a new one out to me.
Luckily it 'was' fine after replacing the battery and run the control solution through it and reset it again
Hope this helps you foomanchu.
Anna.
