Bgs rising on levemir

Eleven days ago I started on levemir and for a couple of days bgs were down a bit but now they are rising daily even though I am on three units more than a couple of days ago,my bedtime bg was 16.3 last night down to 7.7 at rising ,had very light low carb lunch but five hours later before evening meal am 9.1 so tell me is this usual during the initial trial and error period or should I get more dns advice :?:

I tried levemir after being on Lantus, it takes a bit of trial and error to get the balance right.

Are you splitting the dose? I found I had to split it so took half in the evening about 10pm and the next at 10am

I got off the Levemir to go onto Porcine.

Yes I am splitting the dose 5 units at night and eight in the day ,was doing ten units at night only so expected a change to a more even result however maybe I am too impatient
