Found this in the TV guide today. I have never watched this programme before, but tonight it visits a school-uniform specialist on the Wirral that now stocks clothing in very large sizes to meet a growing demand.

Twelve years ago, Peter Wibberley stocked just two uniform sizes, regular and slim fit , about 2001. One in three children are, apparently, classed as obese and now Peter's shop has to cater for the demand. Plus-sized uniforms are available for five year olds and Peter also sells adult-sized clothes to children as young as 11. The biggest skirt they stock is now a ladies 26

I will try to watch it, but have paper work that really needs doing. But it makes my heart sink just thinking about it :(

Oo I'm gonna have to watch...thanks for the heads up. Heart sinking...know what you mean, how sad. Very interesting , i've just gone on a 'drive' to stop driving everywhere and walk kids to school. It's 1.5 miles to one then 1.75 from there to preschool, then just over 1.5 home again. It's been too easy to drive all this in the past. But too much driving is gonna have an effect on their school uniform requirements! So making an effort before I have to buy the next size up! Stopped putting crisps in lunchboxes this year too. Hope all this nice weather helps to keep it all going.

Gonna sky plus it for my 10 year old to watch.

Hi Weezer, well done on giving the poor ole car a rest and giving those feet and legs exercise. I am not a driver, so I have always walked ( but getting lots of pain in joints, especially left knee).

I saw some of the Big body squad programme, but I started to nod off, with the cat curled up on me and I came to when it finished  I hope you find it interesting and could you fill in any interesting/relevant bits after 1/2 hour of viewing ? Thanks :)

All the best RRB
