Found this in the TV guide today. I have never watched this programme before, but tonight it visits a school-uniform specialist on the Wirral that now stocks clothing in very large sizes to meet a growing demand.
Twelve years ago, Peter Wibberley stocked just two uniform sizes, regular and slim fit , about 2001. One in three children are, apparently, classed as obese and now Peter's shop has to cater for the demand. Plus-sized uniforms are available for five year olds and Peter also sells adult-sized clothes to children as young as 11. The biggest skirt they stock is now a ladies 26
I will try to watch it, but have paper work that really needs doing. But it makes my heart sink just thinking about it
