An advert has appeared on Facebook by a company called Bikenda for a non-invasive glucose monitor that clips on to the finger similar to an oximeter. I remebered the saying "If something looks too good to be true, it probably is". I looked on Trustpilot and found that 99% of reviewers gave Bikenda only one star. Be warned!

It is mis-advertised and does not measure blood glucose.
If you're lucky enough to get one that even works, it will only do pulse and blood oxygen saturation levels.

Hi,

I’ve seen this recently on my FB feed…

Let’s just say I scrolled on. ;)

You are absolutely right. This is not the only advert for these so called " Non Invasive " constant blood sugar monitors. There are even watches that purport to do exactly the same thing ! Of course this is rubbish - you cannot possibly measure blood sugar without some sort of of probe beneath the skin like Libre and Dexcom.

Glucose in blood canbe measured without crossing skin, with a NIR equipment ,but hasn't be comercialised because is very very big an expensive

Szintén a Facebookon láttam a Bikenda hírdetését. Mivel a lányom cukros, gondoltam picit könnyítsünk a méréseken. Megrendeltem a terméket 10.e ft ért. Vártam két hetet, mire megkaptam. Csakhogy a dobozban lévő termék a közelében sem volt a hirdetettnek. Nem méri a cukrot. Írtam emailt a gyártónak, láss csodát, nem található a cég. Behúztak. Ellenőrizni kellene a facen bedobott hirdetések valóságtartalmát. Ugrott a pénzem, és van egy silány minőségű, nem pontosan mérő pulzus mérőm.

@Hajni: hi and welcome to the forum. This is an English-language forum and we ask for posters to use English, please. I've used Google translate for the translation posted below -

I also saw the Bikenda ad on Facebook. Since my daughter has diabetes, I thought we should make the measurements a little easier. I ordered the product for 10,000 HUF. I waited two weeks before I received it. However, the product in the box was nowhere near what was advertised. It doesn't measure sugar. I wrote an email to the manufacturer, and lo and behold, the company can't be found. They pulled it. They should check the reality of the ads posted on Facebook. My money has gone up, and I have a poor quality, inaccurate heart rate monitor.
