Birds

Strangely I saw something on the TV a couple of days ago regarding Robins. Apparently they are made up in such a way that by puffing out their feathers they can withstand temperatures of up to - 30 (minus 30) Now that is cold!

So by this alone I would think "yes" birds feel the cold. However has anyone ever discovered a robin that has froze to death!

The feather puffing works obviously!..
