Birthday woes

Another year has come and gone,
Adding to my age the number one,
Just got up to make a cuppa tea,
For Mr Satindoll and me.
And as I passed the bedroom door,
I saw a dogs toy on the floor,
The dog herself tucked up in the bed,
Mr Satindoll's pillow under her head,
The postman only brought some bills,
And some health company's trying to sell me pills,
To slow the aging process with these pills I'll have success,
They think that I'm stupid as well as old I guess,
Do I believe it goodness no,
But wouldn't it be lovely though.
I thank you kindly for your good wishes,
As I consider my Birthday dishes,
For dinner now what shall it be,
Kebab, curry, oh dear me,
On Sunday I had my birthday treat KFC,
No chips No skin, no just the meat,
So today it will have to be
Chicken Nuggets and salad for my tea,
Perhaps a small class of diet coke,
Not a bottle of Brut cause we is broke
But then again no maybe not,
Don't want my numbers going to pot.
Ah well it could be worse I say,
And tomorrow is another day.
 
Thank you new friends one and all, was beginning to feel sorry for myself usually no3 son sends flowers may be he has, and I've just not received them yet still time though so will continue to hope.

only 4 more years and I will be 60...............no........:eek::p
 
Oh thank you so much, nearly made me cry, I sympathize with you nearing the big 60, been there passed it now a year closer to 70 lol
 
Thank you all, seems trite to say but you really have made this old bag feel loved and wanted.

One is enough, just wish sometimes I had a different birthday like 29th Feb. then I'd be a lot younger

My son is a leap year baby, he's now 7 1/2, 6' 1" with a full arm tattoo Funnily enough I have great trouble getting him into places for half price even though I point out that technically he is underage. lol
 
Happy birthday for yesterday! Was going to send flowers but @Robinredbreast beat me to it. So then I thought choccies:banghead: Oops so sent trollbeads instead:angelic::rolleyes:
