- Spicy food which is too hot. Nasty people who have no idea on your life journey but feel the need to comment and be cruel.
Thanks only on diet and tablets. No insulin. Must get jelly babies.@filly if your level is under 4 (hypo) you must treat it with fast acting carbs like jelly babies as soon as possible.
If you are treating your diabetes with insulin you need to always have fast acting carbs with you so you can treat your hypo.
I also recommend talking to your doctor about your insulin dose. If you are experiencing hypos, your insulin dose is too high for the food you are eating.
Did you retest? That’s low are you on anything else other than metformin? You need to have some fast acting carbs - if you don’t have a biscuit etc do you have nuts or peanut butter or maybe something around 5g carb? Do you have any milk? When I was on Gliclizide a milky drink would help. Your liver should kick in and help you out if your not on anything other than metformin, try to find something to eat and then sit quiet and test every 15 minutes until you see a rise to anything above 4Just taken Blood sugar 2 hrs after dinner. Mind you I didn't eat much. 2.7
Was going to try taking another Metformin SL, haven't taken an evening one yet as B/S always much lower in the afternoon.
Feel a bit light headed.
Only got tomatoes and cucumber as far as carbs are concerned.
What meds are you on apart from Metformin? Thanks only on diet and tablets. No insulin. Must get jelly babies.
Have peanut butter. Thank you shall then keep testing.Did you retest? That’s low are you on anything else other than metformin?
