Blackberries have been in abundance this year I don't think I have ever seen them as good. I have picked pounds of them and frozen them. Sadly no blackberry and apple pie now but blackberries and apple with yogurt or crème fraise for me and sugar free custard for my husband yummy any one else been picking them. I couldn't believe Sainsbury's were charging £2 for a small punnet of them

My wife has picked loads from our garden.
The hedgerows around here are busting with them.
If it ends in berry you as a diabetic can eat lots of them.

Have some in the wildlife wilderness of a garden. And we live on edge of a nature reserve where there are always loads. I cant get my granddaughter interested - one because 'they have spiders and bugs on them' and two 'i'm not eating that'. Unless it's chocolate it's not edible.

I love them but havent quite managed the walk to the nature reserve and it's quite hard to park as there is construction vehicles parked everywhere for the new housing estate.
