Pls let me know if it is alright to consume blended veggies (celery,cucumber,ashitaba & okra) while I am on metformin?

Cant see why not I take metformin and do not know of any food you have to avoid because of the medication. you do however have to avoid Sugar in all its guises because of Diabetes and as you will see many people on here advocate the L.C.H.F.(Low Carb High Fat) Diet to control Blood Sugar levels which basically rules out most breads, potatoes. Pasta rice and many other things. sounds terrible but 1000s of us live quite happily. Browse around the forum there are recipes diet advice and loads of information to help you. Any Other Questions just post here and you will get HELP-ADVICE AND SUPPORT which after all is one of the main reasons for this forum
