Is being bloated anything to do with diabetes. Some mornings I feel quiet skinny and then soon has I eat anything I feel massive... No joke answers pls.

Is it after you eat something specific? I have found that by cutting out carbs I no longer get that bloated feeling or the dreaded acid reflux I used to suffer with almost every night.

Metformin can make you feel bloated it did me when I was taking the standard one so changed to the SR version and no more bloating

That's interesting, cause it's really only since I've being diagnosed that I have this feeling.. Will the doctors just change them..

Ask for SR (slow release) version. They don't like giving it out at first as I was told by my DN that it costs more!

Hopefully your GP or nurse will change it for you just tell them you have only been like it since you have been on the Metformin

Have you changed your dinner or evening snacks? Could be in your food. There are many foods that bloat me. Grains, starches and dairy as well as artificial sweeteners are at the top of my list

Too many carbs and huge portions of anything are often the culprits.
I think back to pre-diagnosis Christmas dinners to remember how it felt.

Haha. I agree!! Holiday meals were about unbuttoning pants and napping too!!

I love my small vlc meals. Took care of loads of issues.
