bloating and tummy trouble

I have a daughter who is 15 and is type 1. She has had it for 4 years and lately has been experiencing bad bloating and tummy aches has anyone else had this?its just around the tummy area and she has a constant noise from her stomach, any help welcomed!
 
As a T2 with no knowledge of T1 issues I am sorry I can't answer your question but hopefully this post will 'bump' it back to the top so that a T1 may spot it. Failing that I would put it on the T1 forum. :)
 
can you believe ive been to the gp 5 times and they are none the wiser? I am going to take her to the diabetic consultant friday so hopefully that might help, have you heard of this?
 
Jane is she on a very low carb diet? And does she have diarrhoea or constipation? Sounds a bit like IBS but this is also aggrevated by low carb diets or significant increase in fibre.
 
She is on lowish carb but not entirely and ive done low carb for ten years and not had any bloating myself,I was thinking ibs too but there is no constipation or problem at all there, no upset tummies as such just uncomfortableness, have not let her have caffeine( she loves tea!) for a week and the pain has stopped but she still feels she is bloated. Sha has also been having some other things lately, blurred vision, slight dizziness and aching joints, although all these things come and go, am worried.
