Blood and Energy

If Insulin converts sugars to energy does that sort of mean that as diabetics we are likely more lerhargic dut to untreated sugar in our blood if not got diabetes under control.. dont seem to get the buzz of energy i used to get... thoughts

insulin acts as a doorway that allows your glucose to pass through into your cells that require it, so if your body isnt using insulin correctly the cells dont get what they need therefore you may well feel less energetic, this is simplyfied and im not a doctor or scientist
