Just wondered if the hot weather could be effecting my blood glucose levels? My morning reading is always in the 4's, but for the past few days it has risen to the 7's. I am doing nothing differently and wondered if anyone else was experiencing the same!

Hey ,
The hot weather does affect me , I mainly drop on blood sugar levels , but as we all know different things effect different people in all different ways .
So maybe it could be a reason of the bm being slightly higher . Maybe some others will reply soon with thier ' heat ' experiences .

Take care. :):):)

The fine weather of the last few days has definitely reduced my blood sugars... to the point where I'm having to tweak my insulin dosages down to avoid lows... I can't decide whether it's my body working better or the insulin!

I am the same as you , hot weather tends to raise my blood sugar. I don't know why this happens when most people report they go low in warmer temperatures. Keeping hydrated certainly helps.

My levels have been low for the past week resulting in a hypo yesterday. Take extra care during hot and even cold weather.
