Blood Glucose Meter Memory

@searley My new Lifesmart meter is has both bluetooth and has a bolus calculator (not that I need it as a T2 in recovery) built into the android LifeSmart Sugar Cheq app.

Hi

There are plenty of phone based bolus calculators... but I want one in the meter which is why I often use the accuchek aviva expert.

Not only is it slower to download the bg reading by bluetooth then do the calculation... but I work in hazardous environments where phones are not allowed

First time poster on here, hello everybody.
I’m not diabetic, I can get hypoglycaemic following a gastric bypass, I have had my driving license revoked by the DVLA, I’m doing three month blood testing to get my license back, one of my relatives has done a reading so has messed my readings up, can anybody tell me how to delete one reading on an agamatrix wavesense jazz so I can give my doc a true reading of all my tests?

Welcome to the Forum @Jeffwhu
I too use AgaMatrix WaveSense Jazz.
I have spoken to the company, they say it’s impossible to delete, that it's made like that.
I do like the meter, and feel quite homely with it though, but would like to delete one or two readings.

Its dvla regulation for non editable/deletable readings... otherwise you could delete all readings where you are hypo and thus provide false data to the dvla...

Simple solution... dont let anyone else use your meter... your driving license may be at risk if you do

I didn’t want them to use it, they just done it while I wasn’t there and it could jeopardise a chance of getting my license back, I have nothing to gain by telling lies, and obviously I wouldn’t let anybody use my machine, if I wanted to lie I could give my meter to someone that doesn’t go hypo or hyper and use that evidence, all I have now is a false reading and wanted to delete it.

You need to educate them how important it is.. or not leave it where they can make use of it..

You are now in a situation where if you tell you doctor there are readings that are not yours he can not trust any of the readings to be valid..

I would suggest if the reading wasn't hypo then say nothing if they comment that its lower than the rest say your hands may have been contaminated as you didn't wash them..

Then take more care in the future
