Blood Glucose Meters

I would like to buy a blood glucose meter, is there any good meter out there?

I heard Accu-Check seems to be good, but kinda expensive. Any recommendation?
And can I reuse my lancets? I checked with Accu-Check, it has 5-6 in one of them, so I afraid it is gonna cost me alot.

Many people here have bought the ST code free meter as the needles and test strips are the cheapest

A lot of people on here use codefree, there's a link on this website, the strips are a lot cheaper than the other meters around. When I was diagnosed I was given a Bayer Contour XT meter, it is supposed to be one of the most accurate meters, but the strips are expensive £25 for 50, I ended up bidding on eBay for the strips and was getting them for around £12 per tub of 50. It only needs a small blood sample to test. This is what I personally would look for in a meter as it can save on wasted strips. I reuse the lancets about 3 or 4 times, although on each reuse it gets more painful. As far as I know it didn't affect my readings.

The SD Codefree has the cheapest test strips so unless you have any other specific requirements, it's probably the most economical meter to run at around £6-7 for 50 strips, and you can use their discount codes to buy more cheaply in bulk.

I have the Contour Next and even via eBay the strips generally cost me double.:(

Is Codefree accurate so far?
I checked on amazon, http://www.amazon.co.uk/Codefree-Glucose-Monitor-Monitoring-Testing/dp/B0068JAJFS

It is quite cheap shipping it to my country and checked with my local pharmacies, it is much more expensive.
