Blood Glucose Monitoring Watch

Hi All and good evening,
Asking on behalf of my husband who has Type 2 controlled with tablets. He is considering buying a blood glucose monitoring watch as his fingers are becoming increasingly sore using lancets. Have any of you lovely people experience of these watches, please.

I read up on this & they aren’t accurate (just measuring blood flow/colour). I’m using Frestyle Libre 2 (£50 for 14 days sensor) which I pair with my Apple Watch through an app called Shuggah which also gives you a useful direction of travel (going up/down/steady)It’s a game changer & the Libre website gives you all the data & reports (I do love a graph!) you could want. Using the carb&cal app I can micromanage manage my carb intake & offset any spikes or potential hypos & having a continuous reading on my watch makes it discrete. I’ve had problems with the sensor losing connection (Abbott have just replaced one) & this is apparently quite common & often need to rescan a few times a day so it’s not perfect but brilliant tech.
