I'm considering buying a monitor and I'm somewhat confused by the range of products available. The one I'm currently looking at is the Beurer 3 in 1-GL 50 but I'm interested in the experience of others. I believe the NHS use Accu Check?

If you're type 1 you'll get one for free. If you're type 2 you might get one for free. Have a look at the various manufacturers websites. But type 2s don't normally get testing strips on prescription. So my advice, look for the meter with the cheapest test strips. A codefree I believe will cost the least to use.
