Blood is normal before bed but high before breakfast

Hi been type 1 for since I was 16 I am on nova rapid and glargine but before I go to bed my blood is about 9,2 but when I wake up of go's about between 15 to 19 at the moment I am on 29 of the glargine anyone go the some problem !!!!!

You need to do some basal tests as your lantus most likely needs increasing, the following information is for pump users but the advice on fasting for a basal check is just as relevant to those on MDI:

Hi. I agree you need to check your Basal and try to get your fasting reading somewhere between 5 - 7 mmol if you can avoiding hypos of course. What is your weight like? Has it been going up over recent months?
