Blood moniter needed??

Messages

I need to try get another moniter but I'm not well enough to walk down to the doctor's (is a bit of a distance when feeling rough) is there any other easier ways to get one? I have a chemist down my road? Then again moniters cost so much nowadays?

How urgent is it you need to get one? Can you ring your diabetes nurse to see if they can help. Or if not so urgent can you get one on line for delivery?

Why do you need a new monitor, if your one broke sometimes calling the company, explaining your trying to find out how & where you can obtain a same make/model meter as you still have the test strips, can be useful.

Amazon have them pretty cheaply so you could have one in your hands pretty quickly.
Assuming youre in the UK, I got mine from Tescos, £10 for the meter and the same for 50 test strips. I'm T2 so don't have them prescribed.
