i have just been surfing the net looking at all manner of things mainly non diabetic and came across a link for a blood monitor that looks like a wristwatch and does not need a sample of blood to give results. Anyone heard of it?

There was a gizmo called a Glucowatch, which I thought had vanished into cyberspace. It was a good idea that didn't work very well.

Hello broads,

I assume that you're talking about the long-awaited "Glucoband".

The device utilizes a bio-electromagnetic resonance phenomenon (STOP LAUGHING AT
THE BACK!) to non-invasively measure and continuously monitor blood glucose levels.

No, I'm not convinced either.

Regards,
timo.

Just happened to come across it while surfing. Didn't think it could be bothering with as I haven't seen it mentioned on the forum

I think this form of BG monitor is the "ideal world" monitor... but we're not in an ideal world unfortunatly and as far as i know, (haven't looked in a few months) the website for that glucoband hasn't been updated sinse before i was diagnoses two and half years ago!

I'd love a glucoband if it worked and was available... i'd probably even pay for it and the comsumables... but i just dont think it's gonna happen any time soon!
