- Insulin. (Takes over my life)
I agree with your nurse.Might have to go to the Emergency Department my nurse said.
Yes as said in your previous post if you have high blood sugars (which you do) and are feeling nauseous (which you are), then go to the Emergency Dept as soon as possible. That means NOW27.4 before lunch. Felt sick at breakfast. Been overly tired these past couple days that I can't really function. Heart racy.
Might test later and update. Not one doctor or diabetes specialist to call. One is off for the rest of the month and I won't get in to see him till August 6 and my diabetes specialist I can't see till August 9th. Might have to go to the Emergency Department my nurse said.

Feeling sick with such high number is an emergency. Your avatar says T2, but the information in your profile points to a possible T1 diagnosis, as you write yourself.
Diabetic ketoacidosis comes with high bg and being sick, and is a very dangerous condition. Please get yourself checked rather sooner than later.
Good luck and keep us posted!
I'm sorry you're unwell. As you don't have your own insulin at home, I suggest you go to the Emergency Department and get your blood sugars sorted. Feel better soon.
Are you in the UK? Ring 111 for advice. Test again first after washing your hands.
You can test for ketones with the urine strip or blood testing meter if it has ketone blood test strips. Usually you pee, then dip the stick in or with a blood meter, test your blood like usual. My diabetes specialist says I could be a type 1.5 and my NP should test me but she said she talked to him about it but he doesn't want to do it because it will cost money to send it away. And I don't have much money to begin with. I've already had diabetic ketoacidosis and it got under control due to my Tresiba. And I don't know if I am doing it right or not, because it always says negative or a trace and I feel like I did when I did have DKA. So quick question, do you pee into a cup and then dip the ketostix in the pee or do you just pee on the little stick?
Not a clue, as I never used them.So quick question, do you pee into a cup and then dip the ketostix in the pee or do you just pee on the little stick?
