Blood sugar level 101 this morning

I read these 5.5s and 7.8s and so on and so forth and I bout died when I read my 101 this morning
Surely this machine is measuring something different right?

128 after breakfast

in the UK we use mmol/L and in the USA they use mg/dL
so the 101 should equate to our 5.6

and the 128 is our 7.1
