blood sugar readings

I am a new member, I have type 2 diabetes, when
I take my blood sugarlevels sometimes it is between
6.5 and 7.5. yesterday it was 11.5 mind I didnt feel too good and my IBS and acid was playing up
I take mefication fir this, some mornings before
breakfast I feel sick but I am not sick why does this happen?
