Blood sugar staying high.

Recently after coming back from my holiday my blood sugar is staying up at 11-12, it did drop slightly to 7.0 if im doing some hard walking up a hill to my hotel, I'm also going through a chesty cough infection, don't if it could be related.

Infections and illness are major factors in raising blood sugar levels. (also any meds taken for the infection may cause issues)

Thanks, it' certainly a worry as I got slightly blurred long distance vision possibly due to the high sugar, the cough is going a bit, the sputum has stopped and only left with a sore though from the coughing.
