Hallo, I have type two diabetes recently been put on metformin 500mgs once a day I like controlling my sugar by checking ,looking for a free or cheap blood sugar machine,suggestions please of a cheap type with cheap strips

The strips are your running cost so calculate how many you will use in a month. I use the Tee2, not the cheapest, but accurate.

Phone the manufacturer and order your strips, ask the cost of the meter, chances are they will chuck it in for free.
