I'm struggling to stabilise my blood sugar. I feel sleepy hot sweaty headache checked my blood sugar with my Libra 2 sensor it says 2 mmol been trying for past hour to increase blood sugar level but according to the sensor it's still around 2 mmol but I tested on my old meter and that said 8 mmol which is correct hope I make it through night I live alone

Hi @markyj are your testing strips within date? I would normally 100% believe a glucometer over a flash reader/cgm but am concerned about your symptoms.. Do you feel hypo?

(At 2mmol/L I would be feeling really shaky/hungry and mildly confused).

How are you doing now?

Hello again @markyj

I see from your previous posts that you are on tresiba?

If you are struggling to get your bgs up to normal I would call an ambulance.

My libre 2 was hopelessly inaccurate. Triple check with a blood prick. If unsure please go to a facility that can double check for you

Got through the night stabilised my blood sugar awoke to find it at 13.1mmol I've started a new libre 2 sensor now the other one wasn't working properly hope I don't go through that sgain.

Yes, I've done that too with a sensor. I kept treating a supposed hypo and when I finally checked with my glucometer I had gone up to nearly 20. It's always worth checking extreme highs and lowd from a sensor with a meter, because sometimes the sensors are off. (Having said that, if it;s a hypo I usually scoff some sugar before checking my meter, just to be on the safe side.)

I don't know if you are self funding your libre or not, but it's worth contacting Abbott to get a replacement if you've had to end it early because it has become inaccurate.

Hi I thought about contacting abbot so I'm going to speaking to diabetic specialist nurse later too
At one time Abbott used to ask for the used sensor when they were replacing it, so may be worth not chucking it out till you've contacted them....
