Hi to all,

My blood sugars are all under 10 now
Latest one 8.3 so I am feeling better now at last and hope to stay that way and hope I've lost a bit of weight at the same time.

I was going to go swimming this week but didn't get chance as I was looking after my grandson so hope to go again soon.

Good for you. Do you feel like you are in control?
What have you been doing to reduce blood sugar levels?

Great start @Colourfull500 . Are you going to keep off carbs and sugar when you achieve your goal?

“I walk down the street.
There is a deep hole in the sidewalk.
I fall in.
I am lost... I am helpless.
It isn't my fault.
It takes forever to find a way out.

I walk down the same street.
There is a deep hole in the sidewalk.
I pretend I don't see it.
I fall in again.
I can't believe I am in the same place.
But, it isn't my fault.
It still takes me a long time to get out.

I walk down the same street.
There is a deep hole in the sidewalk.
I see it is there.
I still fall in. It's a habit.
My eyes are open.

I know where I am.
It is my fault. I get out immediately.

walk down the same street.
There is a deep hole in the sidewalk.
I walk around it.

I walk down another street.”

Hi to all,

I have just done my bs it is 21.6 but would like to know if having a cold sore on my lip could be the cause of it I've put aclivor cream on and my bs is high hopefully it will go in the next few days.
Looks like I will need to use my diabetes meds in till I get my insulin for high numbers.
