Hi
I was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes two weeks ago and my bloods were very high.
After upping my insulin multiple times I found what units help to roughly stable me or at leave keep me between 4-12.
I tested my bs tonight so I could do my lantus and my bs was 3.9.
Should I still take my insulin if my bs is low/normal or should I skip it?

Hi @megosul,
If possible, talk to your diabetes specialist nurse on the phone tomorrow for advice on your doses. You are new to deciding your doses and need some support with it. General advice would be to take your basal insulin as scheduled, but, on 3.9 bs, don't inject any fast-acting or Bolus insulin unless you are going to eat a meal. Make sure you have glucose tablets or a biscuit by your bed, within reach for if you feel hypo. Telephone your diabetes nurse to talk doses tomorrow.
