Blood sugars

Hi. Type 2. Was naughty and had something sweet. I was expecting my sugars to go high. 9.8 just after 9.pm. 9.7 about an hr later after a friend check after 2hrs. When I posted the latter number it was 49mins ago from 10.40. Tested around 10.40 dropped to 7.0 its good. The reason I check was because I felt dizzy. Would a big drop like that cause dizziness in short space of time. Had a cup of coffee about 10.20pm
 
When I have something sweet I find it will spike quickly and then drop quickly and when it drops I find I will get hypo symptoms, shaking, sweating, dizziness even though my BS is only in the 5s.

So it could be a possibility of the drop?
