Blood test results

I am so glad I joined as I have had fantastic advice and hope that continues. I had a blood test late May and my Hba1c was 75. Had another test 4 weeks later (but only 3 1/2 weeks after I got my results and started my low sugar diet) and it was 69. I decided to start Metformin but it really wasn't suiting me so reduced in August and stopped a few weeks ago. I have also been keeping an eye on carbs and following advice on here. I had my 3 month test last week and it was 47. I am so happy to be going in the right direction. I have also lost 10.5 kg since May (a bit more since this time last year, another 4 or 5 kg). Still work to go but I am thrilled and got a well done from the doctor in my notes lol. I'm not sure my point but I just felt I had to post something.

You sound just like me - I was 75 in May and following a test in September, dropped to 48. It's great to head downwards. Like you, still work to do, but it's good news isn't it when things head the right way...... Well done you.... :)
Thank you, really needed the win as well. Definitely makes me feel more determined too.

Very well done! Great news! Keep up the good work. It’s great to see posts like this, why not blow your own trumpet, and also provide inspiration and encouragement to newbies?
