Hi
Any blood test results here?

Just had results from a full blood count test which shows slight anaemia but one result that puzzles me reads as follows:

Hypochromasia: 10.3% (normal range: -6.00)

Anybody understand this.
Can’t even get a telephone appointment with my GP until the end of this week

Thanks
Brian

No idea of the ranges or what the 10.3% means but hypo refers to less and chromic means colour so your red blood cells have less color than they should, I guess it's relating to your slight Anemia

Presumably the lack of colour in the blood cells is because of the anemia?? Not a medical opinion just some common sense. Hopefully when they address the anemia it should resolve. Make sure they track down the cause of the anemia and don’t just treat the symptoms otherwise it’ll just keep happening.

I'd assume it is linked to anaemia.
I have a different type, making my red blood cells too large and inefficient.
