Hi,

I need to arrange Anti GAD, Islet Cell abs and U+E (abbreviations on the form) tests done. Does anyone know if I need to stop my medication before having these done?

We can't advise you that, you need to check back with the doctor who issued the form. In general, never stop any medication unless a doctor has specifically advised you to.

But for the first two antibody tests I think it's unlikely you will need to stop any medication. No idea what U + E stands for.
 
I think U & E is urea and electrolytes and is a measure of kidney function. Don't know about taking medication before them though.
