Bluetooth connection drops when iPhone inactive

Anyone experiencing issues with connectivity from iPhone iOS 17 to Libre 2 when phone has been inactive for a short while?

My alarms will not go off at night as connection drops.

On android there’s a battery setting for each app which stops in nodding off when unused which does cut BT. Is there anything similar on iOS. Maybe that ‘background refresh’ setting?

Hi, yes I’m suffering the same issue. I have iOS 17.5.1 and my phone won’t connect continuously to the sensor. Been in touch with Abbott, who have sent a whole raft of remedies but none will work. Don’t know where to go next. However Abbott’s compatibility table only goes up to iOS 17.3.1, and I’m pretty sure that my phone worked fine then, so maybe they have some catching up to do.

Put a new sensor on a couple of days ago and updated the app to 2.11.2, and it works. Whether it was the sensor or the update, who knows?

It can be super frustrating when your iPhone has trouble connecting to Bluetooth devices! Here are a few things you can try:-
Restart your iPhone and the other device- This is often the easiest and quickest fix.
Forget the device- Go to Settings > Bluetooth, find the device you're having trouble with, and tap "Forget This Device". Then try to pair them again.
Check for software updates- Make sure your iPhone and the other device have the latest software updates installed.
Reset Network Settings- This will reset your Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and cellular settings. Go to Settings > General > Transfer or Reset iPhone > Reset > Reset Network Settings.
I hope this helps!
