Blurred Vision

I have a friend who stupidly ignored the fact that he has diabetes 2, and has just gone on eating rubbish food. He is a heavy goods lorry driver and can not drive at the moment due to his dodgy eyesight.He attended an eye screening last week and is waiting for the results. My question is, if he behaves himself will his eyesight improve? he needs to get back to work. :?:

If his eyesight problems are all down to high Bg levels then if he takes control of his Diabetes then, yes, he can get better vision and get back to work. However he should remember not to get glasses or contact lenses prescribed whilst running high Bg levels. He must wait until the readings have got down to normal and his eyesight improved.
