Any other board game player about this place?

Last night we played new favourite El Dorado, and old favourite Alhambra. We've recently been working through a lot of old favourites, and some new favourites (Puerto Rico, Flamme Rouge, Quacks of Quedlinburg - as some examples)

This is also a shameless grab for ideas for Christmas presents ...

A favourite of mine was the original 'Risk' board game.

I have chess. The next generation version.

Monopoly, a very costly star trek version.

We almost certainly have a set of Risk about the place, but I suspect it's not the kind of game I'd enjoy. I know BlokeShape (who is Old) knows it well!

There's no way I'd take him on at chess - he used to be a very keen and good player, I've never more than dabbled. I do approve of Star Trek themed ... well, anything really :-) LLAP!

We had Risk it was a great board game, I also had a version of it on a early desktop computer.

The usual chess and monopoly games are in the shed gatherin dust and cockycak.

Had a board game named Squatter also which was a fun game to play.

Sill got a couple of packs of playing cards if the power goes off.
