Bolusing for gelato ice cream?

High all how would you bolus for something like a scoop of gelato ice cream?

Would you delay it and take it after consumption due to the higher fat content?

I would bolus just before I ate it ... and have done so many times but never with a Libre or CGM to see when the peak happens.

Bear in mind gelato has less far than icecream ... an Italian Icecream parlour in Bath got into trouble because there was not enough cream in their recipe to call it icecream!

Why have 1 scoop? Go for at least 2 if your going to be bad be really bad and enjoy every second. For ice cream which is very similar and a rare treat. Before I started pumping I would bolus as I was about to start eating, normally it was 20 min before I ate. Using CGM it turns into quite an interesting graph.

Yes, i would delay the meal if you were hyper. But please see that you do a test 2 hours later and see how you fair?
