Bone Marrow Transplant - Leukaemia

Hi, I was diagnosed with type 1 Diabetes in 1984, my body loves me so much, I have now been diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukaemia and am waiting for a Bone Marrow Transplant. My question is have any other members been through this with success ?

Sorry to hear of your diagnosis. My next door neighbour's 30 year old daughter has just come through a similar experience. In her case they found an excellent match in Germany and she is now recovering well. Mouth ulcers were the warning sign, who would have thought. She has a very positive attitude and that helps. All the very best with your future treatment, I know everyone will be sending positive vibes.
