Hello,
I have seen lots of good book recommendations for Type 1s on various posts, but being the dopey person I am I didn't take a note of them! Any diabetes topics welcome, foody, sciencey, recipes, lifestyle etc.
Can ppl post them here? Pay day is coming up and with nights drawing in there'll be a lot of time to read :-)
Thanks :-)

Top of the list has got to be Gary Scheiner's Think Like a Pancreas. It's like the Bible for anyone on insulin. You must read it! I learned loads from it, even after 10 years of injecting.

Secondly, Richard Bernstein's Diabetes Diet. It's about low carb diets. This was revelatory for me. Improved my control no end.

Buy both, your control will improve!

Second what Sam says, Think like a Pancreas is an excellent book :)

Hehe.

On a separate note,
:stop: < I thought that smiley was a high five, but now I'm thinking it looks more like "talk to the hand"
