bp

t2 on met
ramiprill for low bp
was testing bp every am
seemed ok
stopped taking ramiprill
got blood shot eyes
swollen eyes
painful efes
went back on ramiprill
now eyes ok
anyone heard of it

I looked up the symptoms for high blood pressure and problems with eyes isn't one of them.
Why did you decide to stop taking the medication?

Hi Lopper,

Just remember that the reason your blood pressure was back to normal is because you were taking the ramipril.
If you stop taking them your blood pressure will go back up again.
Keep taking them and it will stay normal.

I know that my dad found out he had high blood pressure because he had problems with his eyes, although his symptoms were more like cloudy spots in his vision. but now he has no problems and his BP is under control.
