When people who know nothing about the LCHF diet tell me I'm killing myself being on it. I was killing myself not being on it!
Hi everyone, I've been on 15ml Humulin for 3 wks. I have been doing well and my BS levels are in the right place, especially in the morning. I could be anything from 12 to 19 on waking with Gliclazide. Now I'm around 5 to 7
I want to buy a bracelet or necklace to wear, especially when I'm going on holiday by myself. Just as a safety blanket!
Can you suggest which would be best. I did buy one online and it was enormous and ugly! I don't want to waste more money
I have small hands!

I am T2 I bought a Dog Tag which I had engraved with all my essential info on it.
I now wear it all the time.
I was spurred on after hospital stays where I had 20 questions quick fired at me but my Dog Tags have worked for me twice now, so it is a great move to get something like this done.

I wear one from this company.

Like this idea. How much space is there and what info did you put please?

Bought one from Amazon has the universal medical symbol on outer and has diabetic on inner it’s not metal but one of the rubber modern type so waterproof too

I bought one from a little stand in the middle of the shopping centre where my family live in the UK. It is a stainless steel strip on an adjustable rubber bracelet, I have tiny wrists. I gather replacement straps are available on Amazon.
Was advised to have my name on it, evidently if you pass out you are most likely to respond to someone calling your name… my date of birth is on the inside, so they can track down my records if needs be, but it has my daughter’s phone number, with consent of my husband and daughter. We live in Norway, daughters are in the UK, but husband is not good with his phone, and they are more likely to get a response from daughter than husband. Though when someone sees the phone number they might presume I live in the UK too…. But might be a clue that I respond better to English than Norwegian! Especially when sick.

I bought one from etsy. The letter E had the horizontal lines, but a not the upright part! Also the tag wasn't fitted tightly to the bracelet and it would catch and come off. Finally I lost it!

I've got one of these

Contains a paper strip with any medical/personal details I wish to complete and when I'm away on holiday I add details of where I'm staying.
