I love bread. There I've said it and no taking it back. However despite my attraction to the loaf I'm trying to eat healthier. What is the best bread for a T2 or bread alternative, all the ones I've found seem to be about 17g a slice.
I'm a jack of all grains but the master of naanKeep low...incoming.....
Cold turkey on rye?. I think it may be the best option but my dad taught me years ago, the best option is rarely the easiestSounds like a food addiction problem to me..? I know... I used to have it too.
Went cold turkey and knocked it on the head completely.. far easier than trying substitutes which are never the same.

This is a Australian bread that I have been eating for awhile called Herman Brot lower carb bread. Two slices are 10 grams / 100 grams carbs.What is the best bread for a T2 or bread alternative, all the ones I've found seem to be about 17g a slice.

Thanks lovinglife, very sound adviceAll approx carbs per slice soya & linseed 11g - Tesco finest protein loaf 8g, Morrisons higher protein 8g
- warburtons lower carb 9g - WW wholemeal 7g
Haven't eaten bread since Christmas but my preference was the Tesco one - nearest to nice tasting bread
