Indeed, cereals have been the staple food in most of the world since man learned how to process them. The earliest evidence dates from 23,000 bce, when people around the sea of Galilee were harvesting wild grains and grinding them .I suspect that without widespread grain and rice production, we simply wouldn't be able to feed much of the world's ever growing population. Many rely on these staple foods just to stay alive.
i myself am not diabetic but my daughter is. I’m not lazy at all but some people dont want eggs and toast every morning in life. having cereal is the only thing the child likes. i find you saying we are all lazy for not eating eggs a disgrace.
LittleSue said:I find cereals affect me more when I am premenstrual than the rest of the month. That week, I have egg on toast for breakfast - but have cereal in the evening when it affects me less. Don't enjoy the egg as much, but at least I can look forward to my bowl of cereal and berries later. Worth a try for anyone whose insulin resistance changes through the day.
