Hi all,

Those of you out there that do the truly low carb thing, whats your view on eating eggs daily - say two per morning for an omelette?

Would two of these a day not be considered as bad fats?

Thanks
Paul

Hi Paul,

Eggs are extremely good for you. There were some health scares a few years ago about eggs being a cause of heart problems, but this turned out to be simply a bit of scaremongering with absolutely no foundation. Here's a link that explains the benefits of eggs far better than I could
http://www.healthdiaries.com/eatthis/10 ... -eggs.html

I scramble mine in the microwave with cream!

Thanks Dennis - I have started having omelettes for brekkie (made with cream) and they taste **** good so long may that continue!!

I have been known to have 3 pickled eggs for breakfast and have 2 goose eggs in the fridge to look forward too.

Some good news.

As i keep chickens and they aer just starting to lay eggs eggs are on the menu.

At least being on a Diabetes diet cant be that bad if i can have ham and eggs for breakfast.

Davey.
