Hi everyone : I've done intermittent fasting for quite some time now, as well as a 20 hr fast last year.
What I need advise with please, is that I am breaking a four day fast tomorrow and wonder if anyone has any tips on the best way to do this?
I know I need to be careful and not eat too much, but what help can you give me on exactly what to start eating and how often. Thanks x

Dr Mindy Pelz is very knowledgeable on fasting and breaking a fast. She has a very annoying voice but get over that and you can get lots of help watching her youtube videos

I have always, taken it very easy with some easy food (very low carb) a few bites, at a time, until later, then build up to a more substantial amount, or just a few bites until the overnight hours, then build up from there.
What you don't want is to spike higher than you usually do. With more carbs you can tolerate after fasting.
I had bacon and egg with a tomato after my fasting four days in hospital. In the cafeteria downstairs. But at home I start with a bit of salad first before protein later. As usual it all depends on your taste and if like me, lactose (dairy) intolerant.
Best wishes.

Thanks for that @Lamont D . It is very helpful. I didn't want to blow all my hard work when re-feeding myself. It's been quite exciting to do this fast! xx

I think the third day is the fulfilment of how our bodies can be happy and help us understand the unnecessary constant need to fill our cakehole. And celebrate the pleasing feeling of not wanting or craving to want to eat! x
