Breakthrough in diabetes battle

Now I can blame the type 2 diabetes as probably being down to my genes.
 
It has been known for ages that T2 is srongly familial. T1 isn't usually

Sounds like some progress but its gonna be 10-15 years before there is a drug on the market at least given then time to develop and then test it. But at least we can now say that its genetic I guess.
