Breeze 2 - Readings ?

I've been a type 2 diabetic for approx 6 years and I'm currently changing some tablets and injecting Victoza.

I use the Breeze 2 monitor and have always trusted the readings.

However, I wasn't feeling too good the other morning and when I tested, the reading was 13.2
After getting over the initial shock, I tested twice more, using the same blood droplet on my finger.
The readings were 10.7 & 11.4 (all within a minute)

Later on im the day, I again tested, this time twice from the same blood droplet and got 5.3 & 6.0

Should these monitors be giving out such varied readings ??
 
They only have to be accurate to within 10% either way around a known fixed point. Your best bet is to use some control solution and check against the strip canister value given.
 
You should also check that the strips are within the use-by date and that the canister has not been open more than three months.
