Broken needle

Anyone else broke a needle in them selfs before ?

I was told to leave it in there !! By the hospital

..it may travel through your body and may even come out your foot..you have to google for story stuff of sewing needles
..get a second opinion

are they magnetic?, it could mean no MIR's

Hope it's all ok. I fret about injecting on planes in case we hit turbulence and that happens.

There are some people on various forums that report it happening. Some say they get told to leave it, others report doctors making incisions to remove the broken end.

Not broken a needle in me, but did pull a steel cannula out while dryig myself. Remakably pain free.

Yes this happend to me and they took it out i asked woukd it have traveled through my body they told me no it would push its self out xx

Done it once but there was enough left out that I was able to pull with tweezers. Not sure what I would have done otherwise.
Not especially painful at the time but bruised nicely.
